been tired of all the virtual life i tried to get a grip and deal with some more real life

i decided to go and spend some money on case modding

then i needed to upgrade but ran out of space

next i realized i wanted to beat chewy with overclocking and so i concentrated on efficient cpu cooling



______________________________________

been there, done that - new record
of course i couldnt let anonymez get away with his dual core so i built a dual board watercooled system



______________________________________

having mastered the watercooling i tried to overclock my 286 to be able to run an unreal tournament server - some heavy duty liquid cooling was necessary

the cooling was working fine if only Rex hadnt taken my calls for additional liquid cooling to serious:

i finally managed to set up the perfect system for my local lan party and some friends, neighbours and gods knows who came to join in

no need mentioning that the 286 didnt run stable for too long - i had to use my newer machine instead





______________________________________

before this event i practised real hard for weeks and spent hillarious money on more equipment





______________________________________

i almost got into trouble when installing this system in the master bedroom

spending too much time on stablity i didnt care for security and people showered me with complaints

blutach said his little fellow was murdered

lt. columbo, however, was able to solve the case fairly quick and the predators were found

well, what was i supposed to do now?
i decided to provide those cats with a special show to keep them away from interfering again

after hours of hard work



______________________________________

...we even came up with brandnew network security solutions



______________________________________

i thought the problems were solved and all of us could concentrate on the funny part

blu got a new mouse and was distracted for a while...

...but the trouble wasnt about to stop
drf turned out to be a real messy - not only with his desktop

after some complaints we had to disqualify him for breaking the geneva convention but kept his keyboard as a reminder that life will develop no matter how hard its environment

for some days we enjoyed ourselves and time was flying
i didnt realized some folks got fragged to often and spent their time with creative work instead of joining the fights

it got worse when the security staff informed me that due to the bad air and foul smell some people had moved outside





______________________________________

we were, however, congratulated for providing superb equipment even on our wc



______________________________________

only the keyboards we provided wasnt the best idea we had



______________________________________

some guys messed up a good deal of our network



______________________________________

we told them to press ctrl+alt+del but somehow they didn't manage, finally we came up with a decent solution for non-responding systems

the problem was, however, somebody messed up the lan-access and we were faced with this

pressing all kinds of buttons the end was near



______________________________________

despite providing even better access to the help system...

...we finally gave up and turned some of our machines into something useful



______________________________________
