If they really could, and im not saying there is no-one alive who cant, they shouldnt charge for it. Im a christian, and i believe when you die, you have no contact with this world anymore. I saw a tv programme, it might have been made by Derren Brown, a really clever mind magician, who trained an ordinary fella to pretend he was a psychic who could talk to the dead. How to throw hooks (opener lines, ie someone called fred wants to talk etc) to an audience and see who reacts, then work them until they beleived. Amazingly lots of people fell for it, and beleived him genuine.
Like i said, maybe there are people who can, but im sure the majority are con artists, and i dont like people who prey on the defenceless, especially when they are mourning.

you have a point there charging money is insane. If you have the gift you have it for a reason and that reason I am sure is not for personal gain.

I had a couple of expierences when I lived in a 200 year old house. I hated being in that house alone.

When I was about 16-17 me and my uncles go to the cemetary and sleep all the time to see if who was the chicken one

- the only problem with doing things like that, is that you can bring the spirits home with you. thats what i have always been told.... and i agree with disco on the people who pray on the defenseless, they always find the ones who have just lost somebody close to them and play off their emotions.... and then... theres people that really can do it. the most convincing thing ive ever seen was on the season finale of ghost hunters when they use the thermal camera while they were talking to a sensitive, an aura came off the person he was talking to and he put his hand out and pushed it back down... and the thermal kept having fluctuations as they were talking to him. and personal experiences... not myself....

That is an old wives tale there is not truth to that. LOL
Spirits can be anywhere. Probably to keep kids out of grave yards at night.
There are real dangers to playing in a grave yard at night and the spirit world has nothing to do with that.

There are devil worshiping cults that perform strange rituals in graves yards and there are grave diggers that are basically thieves that dig up graves in search of expensive jewelry that people choose to be buried with.

wives tale or truth.... thats a major reason we do not go to any "haunted" places.... we try and get to Fairfield Hill's as much as possible to take pictures and to see it before its demolished.

Spirits can be anywhere.

they are everywhere. the more people acknowledge them the more power or control they have. see i never believed in this stuff. the paranormal. then hearing stories from my girlfriend... and actually experiencing it...changed my whole perception on a lot of things.

Seeing is believing!!
Lets face it until you see it it is somewhat hard to believe.
And when you do talk about things you have seen or experienced with the spirit world most people think you are crazy until they one day see what you do
