    Timezones an hour ahead

Appears that the "spring forward" time change happened too soon. Right now it's 11:39 AM but it says I posted this at 12:39. If I turn DST Correction on it turns to 1:39. What's up with that? I have it set right... GMT-5

Daylight saving time doesn't change until tommow in the UK. It will go ahead by one hour at around 1am. I will lose one hour of sleep. The computer will automatically add the hour at the right time.

GMT-6 is Greenwich Mean Time minus 6 hours. You only set that if your time zone is 6 hours less GMT.

Date calculator. Most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time. In the European Union, Summer Time begins and ends at 1:00 a.m. Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time). It begins the last Sunday in March and ends the last Sunday in October. In the EU, all time zones change at the same moment.

DST is next weekend in the Central time zone.
"Wanted in 14 counties of this state. The condemned is found guilty of the crimes of murder, armed robbery of citizens, state banks and post offices, the theft of sacred objects, arson in a state prison, purgery, bigamy, deserting his wife and children, inciting prostitution, kidnapping, extortion, receiving stolen goods, selling stolen goods, passing counterfeit money, and contrary to the laws of this state, the condemned is guilty of using marked cards...therefore according to the powers vested in us, we sentence the accused here before us Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Ramirez also known as the Rat and any other aliases he may have to hang by the neck until dead."

Yep your right Zero Daylight saving tim e not till april 2, 2006

I thought this was interesting though it seems that in 2007 that will change a bit.:

NEW: On Monday August 8, 2005 President Bush signed into law a broad energy bill that will extend Daylight Saving Time by four weeks beginning in 2007. The provisions of the bill call for Daylight Saving Time to begin three weeks earlier on the second Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday in November. Currently Daylight Saving Time starts on the first Sunday in April and ends on the last Sunday in October. Read our special section on how the extension of Daylight Saving Time may affect you.

I'm not sure if Canada is following suit on that, but due to economic factors they likely will.

The clocks were right yester day and today they are not. Maybe there was a mistake made with the clocks on the daylight savings. So many different time zones and different dates for the DLS something probably got confussed somewhere. I am sure it will get fixed.
