Darn, Band camp, scouts, i cant relate to any of that. The closest i came to any of that was the USArmy. Have fun. And remember us here at the forum when your rich and famous.

how's the traffic out there?

Pretty bad, takes 45 min to get from Pasadena to LAX, but Hubby has a 4 minute commute to work on back roads. I choose not to go further than 10 miles for anything, no matter where I live.

The house is half the size as the one in Orlando and cost twice as much! I won't be able to work fron home either, but we have a pool and 3 bedrooms on a cul-de-sac.

Can't wait to get out of sticky Florida!

I was on the swim team in school and have been swimming with the Master's Team for 3 years at the Aquatic's Center. My son is a very strong swimmer and my daughter wants to be a mermaid when she grows up. It was worth losing square footage to have the pool!

I can swim decently, but what I am really good at is cannonballs. Somehow being overweight and huge splashes go together there... in gym class I splashed someone on the other side of the room! So they now call me "cannonball Dan" in summer gym class

Everyone loves a good cannonball! I am not good at them, but Hubby and my son will do them at the same time to see how much water they can splash outside the pool!

what else to do in free time during gym class? I can't dive if my life depended on it
