I just got back from camp, got some pics if anyone wants to see.
Also got a video of us spraying bug spray on a match and making a huge flamethrower, good thing I didn't get caught

Yeah it was fun, I got a few merit badges, got to be part of the "war canoe", got to shoot a rifle, etc.

And there were a few girls there for a canoe trip but they were all the way on the other side of camp so I didn't bother

Well, I didn't take a shower all week so I scared everything off

I did get the Marksman rank at rifle shooting but we shot at targets not moving things due to safety

Do they still do the "mile swim", that's a bear

This is like my fifth year, and I can't swim well so I just barely passed the swimmer test. But yeah they do the mile swim.

The merit badges I got were Energy, Pulp and Paper, Personal Management, Pioneering, and Rifle Shooting.

I have 23 now, enough to get Eagle, but I need a few more Eagle Required MB's.

I couldn't swim for beans, but life saving was a required merit badge for eagle,
like to drowned several times getting it. Then said what the heck might as well get the mile swim also. Canoeing was the most fun merit badge. Taking a 17ft alum canoe accross lake by yourself in a strong cross wind is something
I'll never forget.

We never have any mile swim in the girl scouts feeling jipped here.

We did have a lifeguard badge and certification though.
