I did it just over a year ago. Had hair past my bellybutton, got it cut in an A-line shorter than yours! Cried for 6 months even though I knew it went to a good cause. Just starting to get long again.



That's my hair now. I would do it again, but I won't cut my hair that short again!

Hey way to go!! I've had hodgkins twice and I know how hard it is for people to lose their hair. Keep up the good work.

Thank you to everyone for their comments. And I must say to smokey, that I am sure I will be smiling much more when I get into the later part of my thirty's. It is just now I want to be treated as a young adult and not a child. I guess the hair cut works a little I didn't get carded at the restraunt when I ordered a drink.

My wife chopped 12 inches off for Locks of Love. She was a little freaked out at first, but was really happy she did it and plans on doing it again.

My wife chopped 12 inches off for Locks of Love. She was a little freaked out at first, but was really happy she did it and plans on doing it again.

I had about 11" cut off. I got teary eyed at first, but walked out of the salon smiling. Quite thankful that I don't have as much hair now the weather has been a scorcher on the eastern seaboard. About 100 degrees plus the heat index today.
