Hello,
I guess that would depend a lot on what career you are seeking. But any kind of certification looks good to future employers.
Heck I never went to traditional 4 year college but I did go to cosmetology school even though that has nothing to do with what I am looking for now, it tends to look better on paper then no schooling after high school. For most office jobs I would go for the certification with Microsoft office suite. But I don’t know what kind of career you are going for either. As for the websites which is best I guess you would have to check them out and see what is best for you.
I have never taken any online classes, but then again this forum is like a big online class always learning something here. -
I went to a 4 yr college for business/finance. We had to take quite a few computer classes. They only teach you Microsoft Office, we never dealt with any adobe except Acrobat.
If it doesn't cost too much I would do it. But you should check Monster.com for the positions you are seeking and then see what they require if money and time is tight.
Good Luck!Comment

I was going to go to Milwaukee Institute of Art Design. I applied and was excepted then I found out how much it would cost. I still have hopes of one day getting to go there though. LOL

PA - If money is a concern, you should see what kinds of grants and scholarships you may qualify for. You don't have to be young to get people to pay for school. This site has them all Fastweb.comComment

If you want to go to the best school of the arts in the midwest you have to have money. LOL (and a lot of it)
As for a scholarship I quilified for a 20% but I cant cover the other 80% I may have to wait until I turn 40 to go back to school. And that was a double scholarship, for playing the Viola and painting and sculpturing skills.
