Hey Sorry I missed this thread I hope everyone in Canada had a great one.

I didnt know thanksgiving was celebrated in canada I always thought that was just an American Holiday.


Your lucky you get it in October.

For me I have to buy all my pumpkins now and cook them and freeze them till Novemember for our thanksgiving day feaste.

The company I work for has a call centre in Mississauga. It is kind of strange how when there is a Canadian holiday we have to cover for our Canadian folks, but they wont cover for us

I used to work for an American company and it was strange for me as well...got American holidays but had to work on Canadian holidays.....

I am thinking since Canada is so close that we should all get American and Canadian Holidays off and paid. LOL

That way we could all be more supportive of our neighbors holidays seems like a nice thought.
