    Problem opening forum threads

Is anyone else having a problem opening certain threads on this forum?

Most threads pop right open. A few seem to hang and never open. One of the problem ones is: "Burn failed please help"

I've noticed that on a few threads also. I believe it started two days ago.
Maybe to much traffic in these certain threads, I'm just guessing though.

i dont know, but im on cable so speed has been good. So dont think it is an isp problem, esp if others are experiencing it also.
Have you folks had any server problems?

I have experienced this also. I am on cable, speed is not an issue. I figured there were too many users on DVF at the time, so I just come back later.

The only time I have problems is in the weekday afternoons after schools are out and before the businesses have closed for the day. Between 2:30 and 5:00 PM EST, the bandwidth is sucked up by everyone else. This not DVFs fault, but my internet supplier. I only find it hard get on here on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. I guess a lot of guests are visiting to view the latest releases encryption problems (like Click this week). The only threads that take a long time to download are threads that are image heavy. I like thumbnails but they do take a long time to download when you have 40 replies per page.

Once in a while I notice some threads take a few seconds longer the normal but not very often. When the forum is real busy that may have somthing to do with it. Are you on dial up ?

I have had recent page loading problems. Can't say it's any specific time of day.
My desktop (ethernet - Linkwrt54g router) usually is around 11k-13k mbts-down and 1k+ mbts - up
My lap wireless is around 8K-9k mbts -down and 1k+ mbts -up
I also run a broadband TCP Optimizer from speedguide.net on both machines.
