Couple arrested for taping Hanna Montana

A couple was arrested in a theater in the north suburbs of Chicago. They were trying to record the new Hanna Montana movie with a hand held video camera. The police, with a warrant in hand searched the couples home, and found over 45,000 of illegally recorded movies and computers used for duplicating movies. That were being sold on street corners, flea markets and on the internet.

The police estimated that the couple were making closet to 150K a year.

Awesome, I wish people were now arrested just for SEEING Hannah Montana!

I highly doubt all those movies were recorded by THEM - they probably just downloaded a bunch. Either way, I'm strongly against commercial piracy (I won't comment on personal-use type copying), so I'm glad these people who were making a living off selling bootlegs were arrested.
