    5.1 speakers

    Hi, everybody. I´ve spent the whole day trying to figure out how could I get the Sound for 6 channels.(5.1) from a DVD and I give up. If somebody knows how, please help

      You can use PowerDVD to output 6 channel sounds via its sound setting. It can also upmix a stereo sound source into 5.1 channel(I believe so, since it does likewise for my 4.1 setup). Of course, you will need a soundcard capable of outputting analog 5.1 sounds, or one that outputs AC3 digital signal to a 5.1 speaker set with an on-board AC3 decoder.

          yeh..that's right....the new versions or "limited editons" of powerdvd does that. I have one at home...
