Sound in Matrix

Hi, I know this movie is a bit old but I just decide to convert it to divx and I tried to and the movie quality is perfect, the only problem is with the sound which seem to be very low, I was wondering is there is any way to increase it without have to to spend 2 hours to convert the divx again ???
