horizantal lines...

Why can't i get rid of the horizantal black lines?! DVD2AVI says the frame type is interlaced, but i cant see any horizantal black lines there, but when the encoding is done...the lines are there...I've tried to used deinterlace blend mode i v-dub, and Fast deinterlace in gordianknot (since this is the software i use) I've done exactly like the guide says at doom9.org...but still i can't get rid of them!

Try using Flask instead - and put a checkmark in the "Deinterlace" box...
