Gknot will suport dolby surround sound?

Hi i am finally experiencing some success with Gknot. However my rips tend to have quiet sound, you have to turn the volume way up to hear anything. Also is it possible to encode so your final product so it has dolby surround sound?

mp3 may have dolby surround 2.0
dolby digital 5.1 should be ac3.

both formats can be muxed with your avi file. gk, however, neither creates nor muxes the sound.
if at all it calls besweet to take care of creating an mp3 file from your ac3 and nandub to finally mux the sound with the video stream.

      Thx for the reply.

For clarification i am using all tools in your guide. I use Smartripper and DVD-AVI to create a project and end up with ac3 soundstreams. Later in the conversion process after Bee-Sweet does it's thing and Nandud does it's thing, should the end result should be a DVD rip with dolby 5.1 audio regardless of audio bitrate i choose? Or should i be picking a certain audio bitrate?
