Question ref. to GKnot 0.26.1: Neutral Bicubic or Sharp Bicubic?

I've read some Guides to learn how to use Gknot so far.
Theres one question left to me:

After pressing the "save+encode" button, one can choose among
"Bilinear", "Soft Bicubic", "Neutral Bicubic", "Sharp Bicubic" and "Simple" in the "Resize Filter" topic.

In some Guides "Sharp Bicubic" is recommended, other ones use "Neutral Bicubic".

Which one is the best? Is there one "ultimate" solution () or are there different possibilities for different videos?

    Please help me,

no, there is NOT the ultimate setting

    1. between neutral and sharp bicubic resizing is niot THAT much difference.
    bilineare, however, is less sharp

    2. for a two cd rip, i'd always opt for the sharpest resizer; for a single cd rip, you might prefer simple resize the better choice

the sharper the resizer works, the less compressable the videostream will be, because of the way the codec works.
