DivX 5.01 and 4.x dont work...but High and low motin codecs do?!

Installed DVD reaper, Nimo codec pack and Div X 5.01 bundell in that order. After getting more familiar with div X installed Gordian knot and Xmpeg. However whenever I try and encode using these and DivX 5.01 or 4.x i get a blank file about 5 seconds long (after 4 hrs encodeing!). I also appear to have DivX Fast-motion and Low-motion codecs, which do work, but do not give me any advanced options (specifically im after 2 pass encodeing);
How can I getthe othercodecsto work, and is it worth it ?

Uninstall the divx 5.01 codec and NIMO PACK.

DIvx 4.x and 5 may ahve problems co-existing. Then, either installl only divx 5.02 or in the NIMO codec pack to a "custom" installation that excludes either the divx 4 or 5 codec.

or use tsunamis filterpack, which i consider the best pack anyway!
