    Some questions on DVX-3

I have been looking for a new way to encode (flask is seeming a little primative) and I am willing to try DVX-3, but have some questions. If I understand UncasMS's tutorial on the subject, then DVX can process the ogm and ogg together. Does this mean that the virtualdub mod is only necessary if I process the audio as a separate ogg and then try to mux into ogm. I guess my main question is, if DVX can encode the video and audio at the same time, what is the need for besweet and the virtualdub mod. Also, wil DVX automate 2-pass encoding? How would you rate video quality compared to flask if you ran both with same bitrate? Thanks for the help

    - video will be processed with virtualdub/virtualdubMOD
    - audio will be processed with besweet

audio will be done first, next comes te video part

the video quality that virtualdub will produce using avisynth frameserving is the highest you will be able to achieve!
