Problem in the middle of the movie with sound

I am trying to rip Star wars attack of the clones (PAL, 16:9, Interlaced).

The sound files are 3, 1 for AC3 6 channel audio and 2 for AC3 2 channel audio.

I was encoding using the 6 ch file but in one of the VOB files, in the 6 channel audio file there is sound from the director speech. So I HAD to choose a different audio file for that vob part, this resulted in the sound from that part onwards to lose sync slightly and also made scratching sounds at a few points.

How can I encode ignoring the director speech using 6 channel or what else can I do about this?

I used Xmpeg 4.5 (gknot gave me a bleeding red colour in the movie)

maybe using a reliable routine will help you.

extract your audio files with dvd2avi and then convert the ac3 to mp3 or better ogg vorbis with besweet.

there was no trouble with sw2 pal version.

ok I have the AC3 files and I can convert them to mp3.
Once I convert though, how can I put them in one file with the video files?

i wrote this guide for OGG VORBIS but you could as well choose mp3 as output format

to mux the audio with the video use virtualdubMOD or nandub and do it similar to this guide
