    Frameserving Subtitles

Hi. My final goal is to add subtitles to a downloaded Divx, and then burn the file to a VCD.

I know I can frameserve the subtitles using virtualdub, then convert the divx with Tmpgenc and burn the VCD.

However, to frameserve the subtitles I have to set video to full processing mode in VirtualDub, thus re-encoding the divx.

Can anyone help me out and tell me a better way to do it.

    Thx in advance.

in case your subs are in SRT format, you might like to try DVD2SVCD.

you can load the avi file as source, set output format to either svcd or vcd as well and in the conversion tab you could load SRT subtitles to be encoded into your files when you press GO => ADD EXTERNAL SUBTITLES or something like that.
