help for beginner divx to vcd

have downloaded hulk from kazaa, used nero to encode for vcd but unable to write to dics as file to large, how can you split onto 2 vcds? any help or links would be much appreciated, do you split the kazaa file before dragging into nero for encoding or can you do this after?
