    Mp3 for Gordian Knot

which program would u recommend me to use to create the mp3s for use with GK?

i tried using nero wave editor to create a vbr mp3 using "Mp3 Pro" but somehow my final .avi doesnt play properly.

im now trying to use nero wave editor to create a cbr mp3 NOT using "Mp3 Pro". hope it works.

    androoz,

    "using "Mp3 Pro" "

You should consider not using the not-so-supported MP3 Pro format. There are no existing DirectShow filters for this audio compression and hence you will not be able to decode MP3 pro tracks muxed in AVI files.

For creation of MP3 files, RazorLame with LAME will satisfy. As an alternative, you might consider using OGG as audio compression format.

There's nothing wrong with the MP3 format. Only when one decides to use low bitrates at 112kbps and lower will MP3 show its limitation. Otherwise, there is no reason to blow smokes around.
