VirtualDubMod Crashes after its 1st Pass!

Hi all....
well i have a problem converting a Decrypted DVD to Divx format (codec verison 5.0.5) using Gordian Knot 0.28.

these are the settings and processes i go through:

1. first of all, i copied DVD files on hard disk using 'DVDDdecrypter' (Successful)....

2. Slected "VOB" files and track in 'DVD2AVI', then saved the project in destinated folder. (Successful)......

3. Now in GK (Gordian Knot), i selected "Open" then selected the saved DVD2AVI project, and set the size (650 mbs) and audio 160 mbps, resolution (576 x 320) and smart cropped.... (successful)

4. clicked "Save" button and there ran the test of 5%....(Successful).........

5. now clicked the "Save And Encode" button. then selected the audio and then selected the Video Bitrate (which ws already set for me by GK)....... P.S. i have ripped 2 dvds before, the same way and never had such problem.

6. anyways, now i add the job, then VirtualDubMod opens and it starts encoding, after serveral hours (it really tested my patience), when it was 99% and the frames were all done (159191/159191) it showed the error and crashed....


The error it showed is attached in the form of picture which i screened through "PRINT SCREEN"...

Now Please, i need your help on this..... whats the matter? why is it happening when i did exactly as mentioned in the Guide for GK...
any help would be more than appreciated...

what are your computer specs?

well my computer's specs are:
OS : Microsoft Windows XP
Intel Pentium III 1133 MHz
1.3 GHz
256 MBs of RAm
HDD 40 GB (which i use).

so? any idea?

your system might be overtaxed. try restarting, then close all unnecesary processes in the background

i did everything possible, like closing all extra programes and restarting my computer thousand time, i have tried to rip this movie atleast 17 times.... once i did succeed but then the audio was out of sync, thats the other case, the problem is of the error..

do you still have the out of sync avi?

if you do, go to Vdub and file-->file info

post all that you see here, a screen capture would be nice

Well UncasMS, the reason for that is i wanted you guys to see the picture first, and then request to help me.... thats it... .....

and the first post was typed on the MS Word becuase the country i sent this post from has very poor net performance, so i just pasted the whole thing and posted it with the picture, and then requested........

i m sure i am quite clear now...... sorry if it did offend you......

as for the LOG file, i have to redo it all again... i deleted the last encoding......
