I used DVD Decrypter to rip DVD and MPEG Mediator to encode into DivX.
I have done this for many of my DVDs but I am running into problems with Treasure Planet. About 1 min 10s into the DivX file, the video goes black and audio stops. Then at about 3 min 15, it all returns back to normal from the point it stopped. There are a few of these gaps in the file.
So I loaded the vob's into Power DVD. At the spot where the video stops in the DivX, on the VOB file there is maybe 0.1 of a second of black screen before the camera angle changes. I guess this is causing the problem. But why? Anyone know?
It's not a one-off thing, it's happened a few time.
(Using DivX 3.11 Alpha, Fast Motion, 910Kb)
