DVD sound to .wav without loosing indexes...

Can anyone help me with my problem?

I am trying to burn Audio CD with music from DVD, but after I ripp sound into .wav format (using xmpeg) I loose all indexes - I mean it's just one big wave without divisions into songs. How can I get the wave split into songs? CAn I use IFO file in any way?

Use MPEGCutter (MPEG2CUT.EXE) v.1.5 to VISUALLY cut the .VOBs to as needed. Then use MPEGMediator to save each clip's audio as separate .WAV files...

Thanks Setarip for your advise, but you are telling me to go trough all the file and VISUALLY cut in the places I need, but I just need to cut my wave file in the SAME places that are already on DVD. Can't you just transfer all these indexes from DVD into wave file? (this information is already on DVD, so can't I move it to my wave?)I don't know where this information is saved after ripping, but it looks like it was in IFO file, am I write? How can you just take it form there and put into this huge f... wave file?

P.S. This DVD is a concert so it is already divided into songs

      thanks one more time

"This DVD is a concert so it is already divided into songs"

This in no way determines the structure of the DVD - Some songs may be individual CHAPTERS, some may be individual TITLES, some may be individual .VOBs.

What I've suggested to you provides a quick, easy, and most importantly, CERTAIN way of accomplishing your mission...

re-rip the data and split the files according to chapters with the ripping software

thanks for your help, now I have more clear idea how it works and as I understand there is now easy way to ripp all the songs/chapters from DVD into seperate waves in one simple process?
