    Nandub

    Hey,

How does Nandub know which Divx codecx to use when encoding? Is there a tab or button or something I missed to choose the codec?
    I'm frameserving with VFAPI.
Also, I read that GordianKnot can also include the end credits when choosing what bitrate to encode at, where is that?

    Thanks!

nandub can only use DivX3.11a or M$ MPEG4 v2. You can select one of them in the "SBC Option" menue.

After opening the d2v file in gordian knot you have to move the slider in the preview window to where the endcredits start, and click 'set endcredits start', then after u click 'save & encode, you must select 'Both (enc. credits seperatly)' in the trim box.

      *edit*
GordianKnot should then recalculate the bitrate (automatically) after encoding the endcredits.

gk will not, however, let you select a bitrate like nandub does.

the standard is a value of 12, choose e.g. 4 and your end credits will have very good quality, going for 16 will make them look worse than ever
