    Another subtitle proglem

So I orginally was using gordian knot but for some reason when ever i added subtitles it the video quality would drop drastically. So I am now trying to use the auto gordian knot to see if the simpler version, will some how fix the problem. But Once i rip the dvd and go to set up all the required options. It won't find the subtitle track. Do i need to make it manually? or should the dvd decrypter pick up the subtitle track on its own?

i've never used autogk btw, but the question is: do you need PERMANENT at all?

i used to create mpeg-4 files with OPTIONAL subtitle streams and thus not having FORCED/PERMANENT subs.
