    the right codec

    Hi
I Have DivX codec and still some movies I have downloaded would not play any sound. I can only see the picture. My Windows Media Player claims that there's an error in the download of the codec. How can I fix it? Please Help!...
By the way I have no knowledge in computers, so please do not use any big words when answering.
    Thanks in advantage!

Well, I did. I downloaded ffdshow And it helped- some movies that didn't play sound are working properly now. So thank you
But, I have two movies that still won't do their job. One, just like before, doesn't play sound, and the other is acting really weird now: It has sound, but it stops after a few moments, and shuts down the player. It didn't do that before it played sound.
What can I do about it?
