no video, no sound 250 MB

the avi file that i have, is 250 MB and it doesnt have sound nor video. odd.i am running win xp and on a sb audigy, and geforce3 ti200. . i have also run it in virtual dub, and still no sound nor video. VD says that it has the video processing settings, but the sound settings are blank.

no, actually i downloaded it, and i also have another movie that doesnt work either, but it is 600 MB.
