    Can't see all of Movie?

I have recently acquired a computer with a DVD-Rom in it. I have installed a couple of different players and each exhibits the same problem. The movie is larger than the viewable area of the players, even in fullscreen. 800x600 and 1024x768 resolution seem to make no difference. I am missing about the right hand 1/4 of the movie/menu. I have tried maximusdvd, interactual and windows media player, with many different disks. I have directX 9. OS is XP Pro. The movies seem to play fine but just missing the right hand portion. Its as if the movie is not centered in the viewable area. Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help,

    BJ

I tried the trial version of one of the pay decoder/players called Blaze DVD. I dont think it worked the first time i tried it but i dl'd it again and it seems to have the centering problem fixed, but had 10 minute limit. Is there a freeware DVD player that actually works?
