    Video Speedup, No Audio

I'm not quite sure where to post this or if somebody already addressed this, but I have an odd problem playing things in WMP9. Everything plays fine, a bit laggy, but I've lived with it. Then one day (happens to be today, I'm getting fed up with it), the video play speeds up to the point that it finishes a 3 hour movie in 5 minutes. Audio is completely cut out. Although I'd admit this might revolutionize the movie industry being able to cram 3 hours worth of video into a 5 minute sitting, but it would be somewhat annoying for the viewers, right? This has happens once before, and once it starts doing this, it effects all the other video formats I've tried to watch. I fixed it by reformat -.- (something I don't particuarily want to do again). Anybody have this same problem?

Nope, plays fine on my other computer.
Tried it on BSPlayer, same thing. I think something's triggering the Codec to go haywire or something.

I reinstalled everything, it seems kinda okay aside from very very very bad syncing now.

i have once experienced this with certain (low and unusual) audio settings.

could you post the file information from virtualdub?

Yes, I have only seen this using unusual ogg audio settings.
As UncasMS suggested, post info about the file from VDub
