When I play back a movie (not all) the sound is fine, the picture is stretched from the bottom left to the top right. Kinda weird. Anyone know how to fix this?

no, it's not like that. it's something with the codecs i think. the video is actually distorted; stretched, diagnally from one corner to the other, kinda like with lines through it diagnallyComment

1) Load the video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub
2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"
3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information boxComment

ok, here's the info. BTW, I played it in Virtual Dub, and it works fine, picture is fine. But when I play it in Radlight or Windows Media Player, the screen is weirdly stretched like I was describing before. (this isn't first movie file that this has happened, but it doesn't happen very often) Thanks for the help.

i'm actually watching it right now in virtual dub... but is there a way to fix that so i can watch it in Radlight or Windows Media Player? I wouldn't mind making it bigger or smaller to make it divisible by 4... is there a way to do it? thanksComment
