    stretched picture diagnally

When I play back a movie (not all) the sound is fine, the picture is stretched from the bottom left to the top right. Kinda weird. Anyone know how to fix this?

is it by any chance a screener taped by a bootlegger sitting in the left-front side of a theatre?

no, it's not like that. it's something with the codecs i think. the video is actually distorted; stretched, diagnally from one corner to the other, kinda like with lines through it diagnally

        1) Load the video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

        2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

        3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

ok, here's the info. BTW, I played it in Virtual Dub, and it works fine, picture is fine. But when I play it in Radlight or Windows Media Player, the screen is weirdly stretched like I was describing before. (this isn't first movie file that this has happened, but it doesn't happen very often) Thanks for the help.

          (2nd btw, it's a friends episode: 704)

Your problem is due to the fact that the vertical resolution of 235 pixels is not divisble by 4...

i'm actually watching it right now in virtual dub... but is there a way to fix that so i can watch it in Radlight or Windows Media Player? I wouldn't mind making it bigger or smaller to make it divisible by 4... is there a way to do it? thanks
