Quite a few of my DivX videos have this problem on the soundtrack. Voices, particularly higher-pitched ones (female especially) have a "whiny" quality as though the sound is somehow being echoed with an extremely short delay. This is not noticeable in lower-pitched voices, sound effects or music, however. I've tried using DivX 3.x and 5.x, FFDShow, WMP9, Core Media Player, the DivX Player, and the problem is always there. I would think it was the media, but it happens on too many videos in my collection.
Any ideas? Thanks!
