The first movie that I burned of fight club doesn`t work on my PS2.
The copy of that first fight club works on my PS2 but freezes at the 3 or 4th chapter.

I am burning godfather 2 (disc 1) with primedisc (doublesided)DVD-R at 1x so we`ll see what happens tonight when I watch it..

I tried to use dvd decrypter & IFOEDIT several times to see if any files were different but everytime I do,the files are all the same and in size as well(SIGNS).
I re-installed REMPEG and nothing happens...
But I still used REMPEG the same way I used it for godfather 2 & 3.

        I don`t know what`s going on,I tried everything!!!

The thing is that if I try to burn it with out using REMPEG ,(4.39gb)
nero justs pops out the DVD-R and says that the DVD-R is to small for the movie to be burned. In the nero burn area, the movie(Signs) was like 4505mb or something like that....
            I really need some help...

In IFOEDIT,at the stream list,do I have to check off all the vobld`s.
What are vobld`s.there are 25 of them and I tried clicking just one but the big was way,way too small.
But seriously, what are volbd`s and do I have to check off all of them???

                to alicia

I had some similar buggy things with what women want.

I'm getting around it no by using DVD2AVI to create an audio stream and a d2v project which contains the video track.

I load the d2v project into TMPGenc plus and encode the project to movie_name.m2v file at the adjusted file size. Same as rempeg does....just alot faster. It also gives me a 48khz audio stream which I'm about to delete anyway and use the one in the vob files.

Hopefully, I can use IFO edit now and remux the newly encode m2v file with the old ifo's and create the new ifo's and vob's.

Essentially it's the same thing just using TMPGenc Plus to do the encoding, which is supposed to be a better program.

So far so good but I am also new to this.

If anyone can see any problems with the way I'm doing this please let me know.

                I'll Keep you posted

                  Hey alicia

Vob Ids, are like pages in a book, the chapters refer to pages, as the ifo refers to the vob IDs.

In my guide, you will see a screen that tells you about how to select the vob ids, some films might have vob ids that go from 1 to 26, but might only use 2,3,6 and so on, so you only need to select the vob ids that make up your film.
The bit I am refering to says:

                  PGC_3 (program chain): [Title (TTN): 3 [01:47:35.00 / 25 fps] (Programs:20) (Cells: 20) (uses VOB-IDs: 2)

The part that says Title (TTN): 3 [01:47:35.00] is the main movie part, as you can tell by the time.

                  Paul.

                    hey swan,

got a suggestion for ya, i am doing the movie signs and for some reason i am having a problem loading it into rempeg(the only problem i have ran into with rempeg) i have ripped out all the subs including the english sub, i am still about 20mb's over the limit, so i went to ifoedit.com and looked into shrinkin 1vob to get me there, then i got to thinking about how long rempeg takes and when i used the guide about transcoding part of a vob file, and the process took about 30 min to reencode which also rips off the end credits, and the movie fits,

so for movies that are a bit over the limit just reencoding part of the file, instead of doing it all and taking 8 hrs to do the whole movie, (i mean for movies without much action, cause i have noticed a quality loss, and some encoding errors)

just a suggestion, ur guide is still the one i recommend to newbies
                    excellent work bro

                      CFFL file

This bit was actually simpler than it looked.
Open the sample cffl file, Then open a new notepad.
look at all the vobs in you movie file and right this,

                      CFFL
                      d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB

                      d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_2.VOB

                      d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_3.VOB

                      d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_4.VOB

                      d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_5.VOB

                      d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_6.VOB

or how ever many vobs there are.
All you do now is close the window when it asks you to save click yes and name the file the movie nam ie. Oceans eleven.
                      thats it done

                              movie.cffl

                              type this in notepad

                              CFFL

                              d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB

                              d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_2.VOB

                              d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_3.VOB

                              d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_4.VOB

                              d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_5.VOB

                              d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_6.VOB

                              d:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_7.VOB

Then close note pad and save as movie.cffl
u need to rip the vob files to video_ts file in directory ie.
                              d:\VIDEO_TS
