Hey guys.
OK I'm new to making DVDs and I've been using guides from www.dvdrhelp.com to convert my DivX to DVD.. So I go through the guide and do what it says. Then I burned the VIDEO_TS to a DVD-R..
I throw the DVD-R into my PS2 to watch the movie. It just sits on a black screen when I press play. So then I load it into my DVD-ROM drive and open PowerDVD. It says it can't play the video because the disc may be damaged (like a scratch). So I take it out and look at it, no scratchs or anything. I clean it off just in case. Then I throw it back in, same problem. So I open the DVD in Windows Media Player and it begins to play. Now here's where a new peoblem pops up. The actual video part is playing faster than it is supposed to. The audio is playing at proper speed but the video footage was going faster than it is meant to do.
So I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out 2 things. (1) Why I can't get the DVD to load in my PS2 or PowerDVD, BUT it will run in Media Player. (2) Why is it playing so fast?
Thanks for any help. And I'm truely sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I wasn't sure exactly where to post this thread as I am unsure exactly what part of the process is causing the error.
Thanks.
