SVCD to DVD?

Trying to Author a SVCD movie into DVD.
There are 3 SVCD files for a total of 2.4GB.
I tried using TMPGenc to join all 3 files, but the operatiopn ended after 2GB is created. I checked the movie and the ending was cut off. Tried using Ulead DVD Moviefactory 2, but after 8hrs, the operation was still not finished and seemed stuck at 94%.
Any suggstions would be helpful.

The following is one way to accomplish this (Although other posters, including UncasMS, may suggest other methods):

For each of the three SVCDs:
1) Use TMPGEnc to de-multiplex the SVCD file (usually "AVSEQ001.MPG"), as follows:

TMPGEnc>>File>>MPEGTools>>DeMultiplex

2) Use "TMPGEnc" (Main window) to load FIRST the .M2V videostream and SECOND the .MP2 audiostream. To convert to compliant MPEG2-for-DVD format, use "TMPGEnc's" DVD wizard/template(Under the "Advanced" tab, change "Source aspect ratio to 720x480 NTSC, or 720x576 PAL).

3) Use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" v.1.5.11.37 (a different program than "TMPGEnc) to easily create the required additional DVD files and structure (and chapters and a menu, if you wish). Select "Load File" for each of your newly created .MPG files in sequence. If your O/S is either Win2000 or WinXP, TMPGEnc DVD Author can also burn your DVD. Otherwise, use NERO to burn in "DVD-Video" mode

(Note: If the "package" of DVD files exceeds 4.37Gb, use DVD Shrink to compress before burning with NERO)

i simply dont like re-encoding and prefer to burn svcd to dvd without further changes.

the operation failed.
Gave the message *.m2v cannot open or unsupported.

1) Did TMPGEnc generate this error for each of the three .M2V files?

2) Is this LOTR-TT that you're working with?

Have problems De-Multiplexing

badboys2-ctp cd2
badboys2-ctp cd3

Both those files will not complete extract into m2v and mp2.
gonna try defragging my hdd and try again. But i do belive it had the same problems on project wizard 2/5 where i cannot load the mp2 audio file.

Perhaps you should try what UncasMS has suggested (especially in light of the files you're working with...)
