Untick the VOB PUO option. Most of the time it is better to keep them. You should be able to take off IFO PUO's ok.

            dimad,

From what I've seen, ReMake Pro would probably do 90% of what I'd want in a re-authoring package, but I honestly haven't looked at ReMake (not Pro) since 2.6 or something when I was first starting. I need to take another look at it.

Basic version of ReMake has not changed too much since 2.6. New interface, can merge two full DVDs and convert cells to stills but basically that is it. Nothing for authoring. Pro v3 is completely different beast. And it is possiblt to get it for free in some cases

Hi guys .. I'm still trying to absorb all this stuff. I have been using DVD Decryptor, saving the output to a folder on the HD, then opening DVDShrink and pointing it at that folder and it does its thing, at times I remove the extra languages, or if needed I select only the main movie, and then shrink opens my nero and it burns.

These other programs sound wonderful, but they are all brand new to me. Is there a link someone can provide that would explain the order I should use these programs in relative to what I'm currently doing? I mean, I wouldn't know which one to start when and to do what.

Please forgive me for asking what I'm sure has been asked lots of times before, but I was hoping there was a sticky or guide for using these programs in a certain order.

                thanks!

DVD Decrypter - VobBlanker - Shrink - Burn

You can edit the DVD with whatever program you want between DVD Decrypter and the DVD Shrink phase.

(Don't tell jeanl, but I haven't used menushrink since jsoto added this feature).

But I don't know why nobody never jumped up and down about the "Auto" Blanking, for some stupid reason I always blanked PGC's manually. But this Auto function is freeking amazing! It just automatically reduced this DVD from 7.4 GB to 5.5, just by hitting one button! It left the menus and the main movie, all the extras are gone! I've got to do some cleanup of the menus (since I"m fussy that way) other than that, it's ready for shrink.

My respect for jsoto continues to grow, I'm totally amazed and astounded!
                        Thanks jsoto!

                        Hi Taelon,

You seem to be a perfect Knowledgebase on VOBblanker in order to create a "VOBBlanker Guide for Dummies".

I think what most people here are wanting to learn is an easy way to Blank out their extras title set and Disclaimers so as not to play them etall (skip them automatically).

Have you ever thought about that ??????

Can you compile a simple Guide for VOBBlanker ???

                        Thanks....

Site guides are not very comfortable to follow. Please see this link, i dont want to crosspost, thanks

When using Vobblanker, do you blank PGCs or delete cells or both? And if you delete cells, how do you know which ones to keep versus delete? And are any decent lay guides on how to use Vobblanker? Thanks!
