How to extract clips from .vob and compile to DVD

I want to create a Demo disk for my HTS, which would contain some "known" clips from "Known" movies briniging out the capabilities of the surrounds from the DVD's that I own i.e Star Wars pod scene, Day after tomorrow etc etc.

Now how should I go about extracting these scenes from the DVD and then compile them into a Demo DVD.(which plays continuosly, scene to scene)

What tools/softwares should I use so as not to loose Video/Audio quality ????

the *cutting* could be done with dvdshrink in re-author mode as you could set a start and end marker

compression should not be applied as the selected range will be less than 4.37gb and thus you shouldnt loose quality

the step of authoring the segments could be done with dvd-lab or tmpeg author dvd
