Heres a problem I have'nt encountered before, I dont have a choice in the drop-down box for "choose audio stream", its (all three) are totally blank! Any ideas?
EDIT* Figured it out (quite silly of me really), I have been using Nero, so there was no need to have .AVI at the end of the file name.As soon as I changed the file name back and put .AVI at the end Avi2Dvd automatically put the audiostream in for me.I've just un-installed Nero, I'm using Avi2Dvd permanentley from now on.It's a bit slow, but the quality is far superior.Last edited by kingaaa; 13 Apr 2006, 10:06 PM.Comment

Sound drops pitch
It's a great guide but could explain codecs a little better.
I have had several successful decoding and burnings but sometimes the sound comes out an octave lower, this makes the woman sound like men, and makes the men sound like radio dj's.
The sound log doesn't report any anomalies.
I think it only affects divx files, could it be the codec?
I have tried a couple of different Encoders but get the same result.Comment

Avi2DVD and Avi2DVD_vs_DivxToDVD
Dear all,
Avi2DVD
--------
I’ve been using Avi2DVD for some time. I've even exchanged HCenc for 0.17 as well. But now I got an avi-file which I have tried to convert into a DVD/ISO over the last couple of days and nights. I have search in the forum but have not found a proper answer. Upon several hours of exciting wait, I got the same error message as so many others (this is the end part):
"[C:\Folder\Avi2dvd_temp\Encoded_Video.m2v 1866939127 Bytes]
[3:53:48 PM] Muxing Video+Audio(s) ...
[3:53:49 PM] M2v muxed successfully !
[C:\Folder\Avi2dvd_temp\Encoded_Video_Muxed.mpg -1 Bytes]
[3:53:49 PM] Job NOT Done. There are warnings ... Find at the log file the 0 byte generated file to focus where exactly the problem appears]"
I tried Avi2DVD three times for this file and got exactly the same error = Job not done, and I had no ISO. Question: Is there a solution to this out there? Or, can someone point me in the right direction?
Avi2DVD vs VSO DivxToDVD
--------------------------
As I still did not have an ISO, I did another search in here and on the webb... and I found VSO DivxToDVD. With this program I managed to get the Video_TS folder and used DVD Shrink to create an ISO . But, I now wonder if the file I managed to create is of different quality... It is much smaller than all the other files I made with Avi2DVD. I can not really see a big difference on my TV when comparing with files converted with Avi2DVD. Can someone pls enlighten me?
Looking forward to your replies. Regards,

Burn multiple avi's using avi2dvd
Hi all,
I hope this thread is still going. I am using avi2dvd and it works well, and thanks for the guide. I am wondering how i may convert and burn at least 4 avi's. I've seen in the forum how to do it with other programs, but I would like to use avi2dvd if possible. Can someone help me or direct me to where the guide is for that?

Avi2Dvd is a program to encode .avi files to DVD. AVI just a MP4 container and it can be DivX or Xvid...So please check your .avi files to see what encoders were used to create them by using VitualDub(Mod), MediaInfo, or GSpot. After you determine the encoders, you can download the decoders to open and encode them with Avi2Dvd. Although, as mentioned in the earlier posts, Avi2Dvd is a nice softwaree to encode AVI to DVD, it is still under bata phase and very buggy on some systems. Please try different encoders, compare them yourself, and choose the best to fit your need
