Sudden Problems With My Burned Discs

I'm using DVD Cloner 2 with the DVD Shrink that's built in, been using it for over a year now. Suddenly my copies are coming out messed up in playback (they appear to play alright in my PC) but freeze up, pixilate, little color bar at the bottom, all through my DVD's playback in standalone players they have worked in since day one. The errors show up in all 3 standalone players. I thought my Pioneer external drive was the problem or a DMA problem (Which I've now reset) or bad media but they still glitch. So to test the Pioneer drive and the media I used nero to burn one of my previously copied DVD's and while it said the "burned failed" the disc plays fine, no freezing, skipping, pixalation etc...So what gives? Am I to take it that this is a software issue of some sort? Why after a year of use would this suddenly crop up. Oh and when I copied, I did the disc to disc copy function, not from a saved project on my Dell.

Have you tried ripping the disc to your HD then saving the file as a .ISO then burn it?

I thought that was what DVD CLoner did, given that it only requires one DVD write drive to make a copy...AKA...insert original, it reads it, pops open the tray and you insert a blank for it to burn to.

if it is in a .iso file you can use Imagburn to burn it.

Check your settings in DVD Shrink. Are you using deep analysis?

Are you using the AEC correction in DVD Shrink?

Click here to see a thread about it.

          Are you using adhesive labels?

As to DVD Shrink, it pops up on it's own, it's contained within the cloner software so I don't even know how to find it. Basically when the read get's to the point of needing compression THEN DVD shrink pops up and takes care of it, never needed any input from me in the past. And no, no lables on the discs. What is AEC correction? Sorry to be so ignorant but up until now I've never had to mess with anything. I did run a search on my pc for DVD Shrink and it turned up nothing but then I don't know how it's named within the DVD Cloner Program.

PhotoAngel, I looked at your link but from what I saw that program doesn't contain any decryption software.

              Oops I spelled it wrong!!

AEC compression explanation can be found here.

Hmmm...I may try the DVD Decrypter program but that still doesn't really explain the problem. See the glitching problem shouldn't be a decryption issus or a shrink issue as some of them are older DVD's like say The Simpsons. They've been out long enough where these problems shouldn't be caused by either program and yet somewhere between the scanning and the burn, there's problems (older DVD's, newer DVD's makes no difference. Now from looking at the cloner program, it reads them into a temp folder, when it's done, the original DVD pops out and then you insert the blank DVD. When it's done burning, you click okay and it clears the files. Here's a section of the HrBurn log contained within the DVD Cloner program, maybe this will mean something or indicate something to you guys, to me it's greek:
