I've only used once, will have to try more. What I would like to see is a PAUSE point before running FixVTS so I can run PgcEdit (rip/blank out the junk). I just clicked off FixVTS, on the one I did . I still like the old Widard method, because of the PgcEdit needs. What woulld be nice is if the Mad Monk could get the PSL funtionality like RipIt4Me, importing before the first DVDD run. What do you think ?

@Ax - The idea is to get a compliant rip. I'd let it finish with FixVTS and then do your editing in PgcEdit. Can hurt nothing. But in wizard mode, you can stop - at your own risk.

I only have a couple of ARccOS disks and tried them both out. Was like a knife thru hot butter.

This is a real winner folks.

Little more clarification .... if I wind up blank cells in the main titleset I will need to run FixVTS again yes .... so wouldn't be better to do my cell blanking, removing extras, warnings, etc first then run FixVTS ? Or am I still in a fog ... get out the big fan and blow than SF fog away for me ...

I would think if your going to use vobblanker then you would skip the procces with FixVTS.

Or you could reauthor the movie in shrink with main movie only.

I would run FixVTS to clean up the files before any editing is done in Pgcedit or other programs.

If you want tiny cells removed, why don't you tick it in the RipIt4Me preferences? Then you should have a nice rip.

Plus, they do no damage.

The Main Movie titleset sometimes contains the FBI Warning (edit: OR) other Attention cells, junk, etc.

I use the NEW feature in PgcEdit where you can Blank a Cell in the Previewer, if I do that don't I need to run it through FixVTS or VOBB (I use FixVTS).

So when ever I used the Wizard (ARcoOS titles), I would stop short of running Step 3, Cancel, do my editing then run FixVTS on the whole DVD ? Go ahead smak me !!!!

What DVD have you had the FBI in the main titleset? I have never ever had that. They are usually in menus or other titlesets.

Mostly on some of the older stuff, can't name one off the top of my head.... but I know someone else must have seen this as well .... cuz I've done a few .... yes most of the new stuff is as you mentioned ... the Menu ones NP, the others I just right click and on the VTS and blank the whole titleset usually.

I agree with nwg. Do the editing (FBI etc) after FixVTS. If you want to edit your movie, why not do it with a nice clean rip?

The one I tried in Wizard mode, I just let it go on the defaults. Chose movie only in Dvd Shrink & my wife watched the widescreen version today start to finish. Picture perfect & flawless. The only problem she had was that the dvd player took about a minute to kick in but I know that is the media I test burned to. I test burned the full screen version to the same media & it kicked in immediately & turned out the same as the first. "I believe".

This is perfectly acceptable. As long as the remove crap function is gone, the IFOs are pure. You still have junk in the VOBs which would be unreferenced.

Myself, I agree with nwg and dialysis1 and would let the process complete and then do my edits - because they are always extensive. But, you may wish to do it your way.
