hi, im having a difficult time. I have an original copy of a dvd in Pal. After numerous attempts of using nero7, dvd shrink, dvd decryptor, and then after reading the forums here, pgedit, and finally onto ripit4me. I seem to have the issue. I end up with pal when i prefer to end up with an ntsc (region1) copy! After trying all these, I find that ripit is easiest .. its mostly automatic. After it successfully decrypts and I allow to Fixit, I see in the Log that it is in Pal format! Now im up to the burning process and im afraid to mess up another dvd!
The only thing I can think of while reading some faq on the ripit site was would DVD Region Killer V2.5 conflict? Should I disable it. But if i do so, If I have my computer set to region1, would i have a problem reading a dvd that was made for region
If Region Killer is not the problem, now that im using ripit, will it ensure that I end up with region 1 if I selected preferences Americas at the start of this whole thing?
Ive been working on this for 13 hours now and would be very greatfull for some advice on how to do this.
