Tetsuro -- Ah that explains it
Well yes -- to the extent that you don't have the time to hit the "remote buttons" while the movie is playing. The opportunity window is too small

Also there may be(probably are) Windows timers involved with regard to the GUI -- Command speed could be limited there.

I've been using 45 sec titles -- no problems here

I believe the smallest title possible is roughly .15sec (rule of thumb)

Variable |< selector (global) described above
Note: Some options involve finding the last viable chapter in a compiliation -- I'm using first cell of chapter duration of 5 Sec as cutoff. (feedback if you think that cutoff is to long)
(this skips going to small "dummy" chapters (possibly) at end of title)

(I create such dummys in Squish compiliations where last chapter is end credits -- I'll save a frame or 2 of them) this gives me an "End of DVD chapter button)

(I highly reccommend chapters/titles longer then 5 Sec. to test)

Now saving most menu global (All movies) settings -- Saving occurs when Make Menu exits after creating a "good menu"
Added another Preset all movies setting in TW Settings window

          Thanks, FA.

As to Next/Prev PGCN links --

          Indeed. I can understand. Thanks.

          I agree.

          As to TestBed7_9 --
TestBed7_9 uses LinkPTT in pre-commands of each title.
Could you write LinkPTT with dvdauthor?

I hope post commands of the last title are as follows:
          ********** post commands:
1 (CallSS) Call the VMGM Title menu, resume cell 1

          or
          ********** post commands:
          1 Set gprm(0) =(mov) 0
2 (CallSS) Call the VMGM Title menu, resume cell 1

          Regards

Not exactly -- DVDAuthor is really quite a mess.
To Many DVD Commands are not supported at all, badly supported or are dependent on the phase of the moon. (sometimes they work sometimes not)

I never did figure out how to create a Dummy Root Menu (Had to do it in TW)

Hell I just wish I could insert The commands in Hex and be done with it. Half the errors are simply trying to hammer these commands through DVDAuthor's so called parser

And Examples are non existant at the levels and tricks I'm trying --No support at all (most know considerably less than I do)

when trying say nested conditionals (Study -- prior movie -- the last chapter) It could have easily been done with a nested block.
The goto logic seems to fall apart when there are more then 2 blocks in a PGC,
or a block next to a block

Supposedly the goto, break statement is supported (then I could have eliminated that silly block structure) -- Damned if I could figure out the how of it though

That mess is the only way I could get DVDAuthor to accept that logic

So the answer to your LINKPTT question (I think thats the only Link command supported) -- Is Yes when the moon is full -- And its a Sunday --and raining

Editing the next/prior links is non existant in DVDAuthor

With regard to the post commands -- Huh --I've set up last title to exit at the end

              Thanks for TestBed7_9_2.

I changed my mind. I like Option 1(Prior Movie Last Chapter (Enable Always)) best.
Because I thought at first it has only AllPlay and can'ti replay each title like several previous TestBed.
But it can replay each title before pressed Prev. Chapter button, and replay like AllPlay after that.
It is very convinient when want to repley from middle title like AllPlay.
(AllPlay from first and Play each title was possible before now.)
I've been wanting it, but thought it is very complicated and difficult.
              Thanks very much again.

              Regards.

                Thanks, FA.

I understand now how you fought with dvdauthor.
TestBed7_9_2 is wonderful beyond my expectation.
The moon seems to be full in my mind.

I have implemented my own method to jump back or forward in the DVDShronk plugin v2.5beta1 for PgcEdit. The new function is called "Enhance and fix authoring".

Since I don't want to steal this thread for my own work, I have started a new thread here.

Castros -- figured out a way to bypass WinAvi crap (I Think)
                    Try this
                    Win Avi your dvd
                    TW>>Delete Menus>>Make Menu
Make a menu with chapter menus/subtitle etc (Don't try your old menu here)
                    when done saving it
                    >>TW >>Delete Menu (Don't question it)
Then Make Menu again as you wish --(I'm unsure if TW's old Generic menus will work -- I'm not supporting them at all)

                    Tetsuro_ja, Jinjin_jp
One more thing to do (If nobody comes up with another option) is to Update the Save Menu/Load Menu (Sadly out of Date) -- It should then be releaseable.

Tetsuro_ja -- Were you going to tinker with the filenames -- I dislike leaving that zip folder unzipped (and would prefer not write an installer)
I'm not sure if unzip utility will unzip zipped folders within a zipped folder
I just know A Japanese newbie will try to run that folder as is (and crash and burn)

R0lZ -- Without looking at the plugin -- sounds like you are creating a dummy blank menu vob (trap for left-right keys) forced. probably rewriting all menus within a compiliation -- correct?

Yes. The whole authoring is remade from scratch.

I thought as much -- Heres a thought

Left arrow --previous ch same as |<
Right arrow -- Next ch same as >|
                          Up arrow -- prev title
                          Down Arrow -- Next title

Seems like it sings a bit better

PS -- Tw users this will probably destroy TW's Menu functionallity entirely if used

So you two seem to want an option to stay in the DVD not exit correct???

I'll also have to turn off any autoplay currently running
