I think I'll run with this -- In release I'll have to reset both to defaults though (first time release is booted ) I need to reset the registry

Seems to sing a bit better then tw's current default

    Menufiles
    |--Just the backgrounds, Frames, audios

    MenuLanguages
    |--English (folder)
    |---------English.txt
    |---------EnglishButtons (folder)
    |-------------Play.bmp etc
    |--Japanese (folder)
    |---------Japanese.txt
    |---------JapaneseButtons (Your ja_bmp folder)
    |-------------Play.bmp etc

essentially the same for all languages
(of course the user can screw around to their hearts content)

      Hi, FA.

Please decide it by a convenient way for you.
As long as two or more translation texts and two or more sets of bitmaps can be selected for one language, I don't adhere to my tree structure.

Some advice -- Lose Nero(POS) -- Use Imgburn (lose the Burn Option in Squish)
Add ImgBurn to Titlewriters Tools (Click View Tools) (See Help>>Useful stuff I give an Imgburn command string)
Open your DoDo'ed Compiliation in TW
Optional -- (Hit the Squish Icon -- IF you need to transcode and Squish to target folder)
Note: Use DVDTExt volume name (Spaces as Underscores) as Squish Target folder -- TW will auto add that name to DVDTEXT area as volumename

              When done
Click Menu/Text Icon on Menubar (Until you see DVDText area)
Edit as you will (I'm fairly sure the 900series juke will only recognize DVDVolume name -- not the second line as in prior models)
              Save Changes
Click the ImgBurn Icon (should now be on TWs menubar)
              Done

              (Essentially 3 Steps)
              Thanks so much FA!!

Seems to work well - but imgburn has already made a coaster w/ one of my Verbatim D/L's - Nero never did that - but two others have worked!

EDIT: Must of been a fluke, have burned about 10 w/ ImgBurn so far - no more problems.

              For others:

              1. View Tools = View Tool List - on the left about halfway down when you start up TW. Took me forever to find it! Either I'm blind or it changes to "log" at some point.

              2. Add FA's command string (found in Help/Titlewriter Help/ Useful Stuff - near the bottom) for imgburn by clicking: View Tool List/ Add (you can copy and paste from the help file). Make sure you change the paths to the correct ones. (I forgot to change "g:" to my actual dvd drive and then got a bunch of "power calibration errors" in imgburn.)

              3. For us old farts: POS = Piece of ...., Squish = *** ******, DoDo = *** *********, lose = uncheck, TW = TitleWriter, FA = FallenAngel

ImgBurn can be found here= http://imgburn.com/index.php?act=download

Partial explanation of FA's command string terms: http://www.digital-digest.com/articl...es_page20.html

HTH, and please correct me if I'm wrong.

              Again THANKS FA!

Glt -- In my case just the opposite I Never got a decent Dual Layer burn out of Nero -- Not one -- over 30 tests (And I literally tried everything)--And every burn successful with ImgBurn

At some point you will find out the hard way that Nero doesn't set the layer break properly

Caution: In this Forum we cannot use certain terms (No references to Applications that can do "TEARING" (Hence DoDo and Squish, etc))

Careful the moderators will flag you for using DVDD*****ter Or DVDS****k in this forum (very surprised they haven't already)

Yes Many buttons Mutate parts(sub views) of the form -- and the form itself changes to DVD currently loaded

For example that large window can be a Menu selector,DVDText Editor, Or a Menu command editor/Display interface

                3. For us old farts:
Want to bet I'm older than you

                  FA,

I edited the offending parts and corrected the note about ImgBurn since I have sinced burned about 10 with ImgBurn and NO coasters.

Working Great, Fast, and now I won't lose my titles in the 995! (Which appears plenty easy to do even if there is NOT a Sony bug - just touch the wrong button.)

Again thanks for the great work and support!

                        Tw 4.5 Rocks!!!

                        Hi FallenAngel,

                        THANKS A BUNCH! Excellent program.

Boy o boy ... TW4.5 is an Excellent Upgarde. It worked perfectly for me putting 2 short movies together.

FA, I am not sure it is me or the program ... when I put my cursor on the first Movie Icon the other Icon gets "Highlighted"!!! Shouldn't the one that you are pointing to get highlighted !?!

BTW FYI & Use ... I was not able to use 4.32 ... it kept crashing on me ... but this 4.5 version flies right thru.

Also, THANKS for the GUIDE within the program.

                        G!

                            Hi FA,

I am using "WinDVD 4" ... I just ran another test and it did it again ... but then again it might be the "User Error" syndrom ... since I am really not savvy with this program just guessing at it ... muddling my way thru it ...

Plus when I run TW I get the "Warning: Generic Menu Not Applied ..." message!!!

Here are few items that I have noticed and I wonder if they can be worked on at all ... since I have no clue as far as programming goes ...

                            1) As mentioned before ... the Thumbnail Highlighting wrong one.

                            2) The "Slider" in the program where I decide which part of the clip to use for Thumbnail ... it does NOT slide smoothly ... it works but with much trial and error.

                            3) Somehow my Thumbnail Color is all OFF ... best I can describe it ... it layman's term (my lingo) ... it seems that may be is running like a 8bit color vs 256bit ...

FA really APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS & this Program ... easiest that I have used ...

                            G!

                              Gonwk -- So many questions

First -- Never tested with that player -- some players are funky
                              DVDplayback (hardware) is normal
Tested with KMplayer, Windows Media Player, ifoedit ,-- Works fine try those

                              2) you are not sliding by frame but by navpack
(This viewer is designed more for the other parts of the proggie)
It is not a player and you cannot select a "frame" but the start of a group of "frames")

                              3) Your highlight color can only be a single color --No highlight mask in any dvd is any other way.

Many more Options under the Alter Menu ... button --
You can adjust the slider to "Fuzzy" it a bit
You may select a different highlight/select color In Alter menu... view

Tw Make menu is strictly in 32 bit color

That warning means you have not elected to create Chapter/Setup menus (Of course since "Originals can be readded in TW main") and if you selected Jump to Menu options in menu creation -- you are being warned that you must add a menu there..)
It is a warning -- I have No way of knowing what you will do after Make Menu

Here are few items that I have noticed and I wonder if they can be worked on at all ...
The above are more user related -- I see no errors
