    Prassi PrimoDVD VIDEO_TS Format Error

    Hi,
I am using Prassi PrimoDVD vers 2.0 to burn a VIDEO_TS directory to a Pioneer A104.

I keep getting the message 'Terminated with errors' .

I view the error log and it says..
    'VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS DVD Format Error' ..

I cannot work out what the problem is. I have burnt the sample VIDEO_TS from the IfoEdit site .. no errors and it plays fine.

I have extracted and created the VIDEO_TS using the DVD9-DVD5 guide .

What is the message trying to tell me ?.

I know I can bypass this error message by unchecking the 'Recognise,Check and Format the VIDEO_TS etc... ' check box but I don't want to do this.

There must be something wrong with the structure of the VIDEO_TS directory.

    Any help would be appreciated..

    Regards

    Mike

      Hi Mymojo2002,
By a process of elimination .. I have got nowhere. The movie part of the rip is in the 7 group of vobs.. (XXX_07_1.vob)
I copied the ripped data into video_ts .. completely and was able to create a dvd. ( I removed the last 3 vobs of the 7 group to reduce the total size under 4.2 gb). This DVD did not play in my dvd player but I expected that. The player just hung trying to read it .. probably an address error somewhere.

I then removed the 8 group of vobs ... failed.

I set up the 8 group of vobs with no data .. but correct file names etc... no good either.

The software must be clever enough to validate the file structure individually .. hence i don't want to bypass this check.

I have tried VERITAS .. absolutely hopeless.

I have contacted Pioneer in Australia.. they are sending out a new install disk ....

I will keep you up to date.

      Mike
