Hi, New to this and would like to know what everyone else uses for there media?? I have a Sony DRU-700A burner so it can use all types. Is the + better or the - ???? I think i heard the - is better?? Thanks for your input.

There are no "Qualitative" differences between the two -- only compatibility issues. However, (-R) is probably more universally compatible with "Most" standalone players -- especially the older ones. -
Not just Ritek G04 (G05 if using 8x speed). They have to be Grade A as well. These are Ritek brands such as Ridisc (one I use), Ridata and Traxdata.
There Aritia brand is Grade B and is not necessarily the same quality. They are not made by Ritek but are sourced to other manufacturers who use their dye.Comment

I use + 4speed and have had no problems!
Also, 4x may seem ok at first. I have seen discs deteriorate after a few months and make them unplayable. The same discs done at 2x where still ok.Comment
