Urgh. Okay.
My previous problems were while I was home, I was burning "successfully" and when I would verify the copy it would give me read errors.
I updated my firmware and the problem went away.
I had taken my NEC 2510A home with me, flashed it on my other computer, and was able to burn problem free with RiData media.
Now however, I've brought the burner back to my dorm room, and after hooknig it back up to my computer, started burning with new found confidence. That is, until, I got the same problems. Near the very end of the verification process I get Read errors. Same burner, same media.
My computer is an AMD 64 3200, gig of ram, 128mb ATI 9800pro, Asus k8n-E mobo with nforce3, and a 160GB Western Digital SATA hard drive.
Please help! This will drive me crazy!!! Thank you!
Edit: I forgot to mention, using DVD Shrink 3.2 and DVD Decrypter burn. (just like at home )
