Can't find any firmware on Ikebanas homepage. The installed firmware could be an IODATA drive.

I think the firmware I have is listed under NEC ND-1100A, but I really don't know if that is what I should be using with my recorder. That is why I am so reluctant to update another firmware. Besides, I was getting good results with the 1.75.Comment

There is a new version of Nero out - 6.6.0.8.
You could try to burn an ISO with DVD Decrypter - just to rule out Nero as the fault.Comment

You might also try deinstalling InCD and not reinstalling it. The idea of getting rid of it is to remove potential conflicts.

I tried to burn with decrypter and got I/O Error, Interpretation: Check condition, Write Error at 50% burned. I'll update Nero and get rid of InCD and try again in the morning.Comment

I/O errors in DVD Decrypter almost always are media related (which may turn out to be firmware related).

Any idea which firmware I should be using since Ikebana recorder is not listed? Also, if my original DVD has a scratch, could this be the problem with the write error? I am updating nero now nad should try another burn with a different DVD soon.

You have a driver installed - 'TPP300.SYS ( USB Storage driver for Windows 98 )' and you have Windows XP installed - no need for this driver.
I have also merged your previous threads into one - makes it easier for new helpers to understand what you have done to make your burner work.
