Bed is good, only I can't seem to stay in bed when I get obsessed over something. The missus gets more impatient by the day cause I'm always either spending time with the computer or the cat (they're better company though sometimes ) They are always happy to see me, don't nag, don't sit there watching soaps on tv all night.

Don't see the point in soaps, they're never gonna end. You spend you're life sitting there watching them, you die, they continue, no conclusion, no point.

LB - we will get to insert disk 2 when you have got your project in working order. It's very simple and the PgcEdit macro does it for you in a flash.

blutach, I'm gonna start over again tonight, splitting the same movie over 2 disks, then I intend to have a look at the "insert disk 2" issue.

Tonight is a huge soap night in the UK so I'll have plenty of time to meddle.

It referred to software called "AddChapter." Couldn't find the actual download, is this easier than pgcedit or does it perform the same function?

When I was a little kid back in the early 60s, they were showing it and it was horrible even then. Those old crones must be 105 not out with even their fake teeth and hair all rotted out.

The insert disk 2 is easy - just make sure you use the PAL clips and follow the procedure in steps 16-18 here, substituting the folder in which you have your closing clip for TEMP.

Oh yes - add chapter. Is a way to add a chapter to your title. Written by jsoto at his VobBlanker site.

This works by adding a chapter to the movie title, and selecting a "custom cell" to add (the insert clip). This works fine too BUT the video attributes of the custom cell MUST be the same as the titleset (as it is added seamlessly). You must also ensure the STC flag is set to discontinuity and also set a cell still time (15 seconds or so, or 255 for infinite time).

All in all, I prefer to use the PgcEdit method I described in my previous post as it allows for a 4:3 clip to be inserted into a 16:9 movie and vice versa.

Cheers blutach, I was just about to post asking how to perform "Insert disk2." I followed the instructions, everything seemed to work fine, tested using PowerDVD but the clip "insert disk2" didn't appear. I'm gonna burn it to a CDRW see if that makes a difference. If not I'll try again. You're guide was nice and easy to follow.

Thanks for that, I'll let you know how I get on. Just passed up the opportunity of some lovin to sort this out! Bring back Benny Hill, I'm with you, I'm old enough to appreciate it now

I should be heading for bed around now, up at 6.00. Just thought I'd post this message. Tried burning it to a DVDRW (I know I mentioned CDRW before, I'm tired i guess). Anyhow no joy. Your instructions were easy, maybe I went wrong somewhere. I didn't really know where I was inserting it in pgcedit but at the same time there only seemed to be one place it would allow me to put it (I think). I'll try again tomoz. Don't know what I did wrong at this stage. This feels like the last step for now. If I sort the "Insert disk 2" issue I feel like I've achieved what I set out to do, anything else is a bonus. I checked the disk and it is a pal dvd movie. I also downloaded the matrix insert disk 2 picture from that link on your sig and I used the pal version.

Time for bed, speak to you tomorrow (well you know what I mean).
