I can't seem to use the BookMark feature, please help if possible.

Hope you are getting some rest LB.

Now, you need to insert the clip in your movie's PGC. So in disk 1, click on the movie PGC and then go to insert closing clip. Navigate to your closing clip that you downloaded (it will be in another folder) and click on its IFO. Now you are returned to PgcEdit and click on Try to clone .... and set a time.

You can see if it took, because the "post commands" in the movie's title will have changed and there will be 3 new PGCs in VMGM. There will also be a new titleset after all the others with a new title in it (your imported insert disk 2 clip). You can double click on this title to see that the still time is OK and trace through the commands from the post commands of the main movie.

Morning all,

I'll repeat the process again tonight, I'm confident I've gone wrong somewhere. I set the clip time to 15 seconds but I have a feeling it changed to 0. When I tested it just defaulted back to the main menu. It was getting late and I rushed it a little, the missus was getting impatient with me.

I've got phsyio after work but once that's out the way I'll be up the stairs like a rat up a drain pipe. I'll print off the guide you attached and also your additional thread. I was looking everything displayed in pgcedit and I just couldn't identify what I was staring at. I figured the menu's the other day by basically selecting everything in the list and clicking the menu button. I know how to identify my menu's as they both had a number with a b next to them to signify the number of buttons 2b (first menu) 5b (second menu). I'm happy to have this basic understanding but adding the "insert disk 2" is the creme de la creme for now.

I'll update tonight, not sure what soaps are on tonight, crappy corrie, Emmerdale no doubt. Haven't heard of Kath and Kim blutach.

Do try to get K&K - it's a real scream.

PgcEdit should keep the time OK. Just look in the Editor in the new title down the botton and you will see still time.

Or just use trace from the 1st post command of the title. You will see how it works. Not all that difficult.

Cheers BT, hopefully it will become clearer when I'm looking at your guide sitting in front of pgcedit at home tonight.

I seem to have more time to read your instructions when I'm in work, strange that. I just have to be careful printing them off. I only have access to a communal printer which is used by around 20 other people, timing is critical.

In an ideal world I could use pgcedit in work, I think I'd be pushing my luck though.

Do you use ebay at all? Sold a few items, turned into a bit of a headache over the last few days though. Some fool demanding a refund, threatening to leave me bad feedback. Told the idiot on two occasions that he didn't actually pay me any money. Frustrating I can tell you, I'd like to go round and throttle the cheeky little beggar.

Insert Disk 2 (No You Can't)

Ok hope your still out there, tried the "Insert Disk 2" again. Still no luck, When I preview the PGC clip it is there. I set the clip to display for 30 seconds. However when I go to edit pgc (just to look at the details) I note the still frame time is 30 (like I set it) but the playback time is: 00:00:00.12 (at 25fps). I wondered if this was the problem and if so how do I fix it?

When I load up my dvd in pgcedit it looks like this:

Post your IFOs here (after your Insert disk 2 has been applied) as a ZIP file and I'll take a look at them. It's probably just a small error.

The 30 seconds still time is fine. PgcEdit reports the playback time as 0.12 frames (0.4 seconds, which is fine). To this must be added the 30 seconds still time.

I must say that in a few short days, you have really picked up quite a lot. That's very very good!

Never used ebay - sorry to hear of your travails.

Cheers blutach, think I've done alright so far, although the guides you've provided and the software ensure it's almost idiot proof!!

I'll post the IFO's on here tonight, if you get chance to look at them tomorrow that would be great. I basically repeated the same steps as the other night, so if I went wrong first time I went wrong second time too.

Will it be possible though? I don't have a broadband connection etc, will the files not be too large for me to zip and send? You're essentially talking about me sending the entire movie via E-Mail?
